What they are
Superflex slings are made of Superflex Cable, which is a plaited configuration, not laid or twisted like wire rope. The interplaiting of the sets of strands creates a very tough and set-resistant cable composed of many more wires than is possible with a laid wire rope. Superflex comprises 912 individual wires in its cross section. The slings have alloy ferrules to EN 13 411. Each ferrule chamfered at each end.
What they do
The slings are made for general lifting purposes.
Why are they used
Superflex cable is easily positioned and does not fight back like ordinary wire rope. The slings are the ultimate in ease of handling, long life and gripping power. Very easy to clean and store. They safely lift various applications and reduce markings on delicate material.
